With the theme “Bringing Vietnam Tourism To Take Flight”, the 2nd Vietnam Travel and Tourism Summit 2019 will be a platform for national and regional public-private dialogue towards promoting sustainable development of tourism in Vietnam and making the industry more competitive. It will also be a place for investors to get a thorough grasp of mechanisms, policies, strategies and national tourism potentials. This, in turn, can be used to assess and find solutions to urgent problems in investment and promotion, in particular attracting tourists from target markets. Importantly, the Summit will be a means of dialogue to push for implementing the joint aviation market initiative, or "ASEAN Open Skies" by 2020 - when Vietnam assumes chairmanship of the regional bloc.
